Day 1 will see you arrive in Weymouth and check in to you luxurious 3 star hotel. You will have time to unpack after your journey and explore the town. You may also like to relax by the swimming pool and unwind in the sauna and steam rooms. After dinner in the restaurant, have a drink in the bar or wander along to Weymouth’s many bars and pubs, but remember to have an early night as you will have a busy few days ahead of you!

Day 2 and after a hearty breakfast you will meet your photographic course instructor and other members of the group to go through the plans for the next couple of days. A mini bus will be waiting to take you all on the start of your adventure with a trip to Portland, stopping at the world renowned Chesil Beach, Tout Quarry, Church Ope Cove and finally Portland Bill! Your course instructor will know all the best places to take great pictures, and will advise you along the way to help make sure you get that perfect shot!

Day 3 make sure you have your sea legs with you as after breakfast you will be heading out on Weymouth Whitewater, a mind blowing 10 meter long, 450bhp rib that enables you to get up close to the fascinating cliffs from sea. The trip on Weymouth Whitewater will take you along the coast to Lultworth Cove stopping at various places of interest along the way. On return to Weymouth harbour, you will have an hour to relax and sample the many delights of Weymouth’s fishing port before it’s time to take the mini bus to Lulworth Cove again, this time to walk across to Durdle Door where you will come across the most stunning scenery.

Day 4 and if you haven’t finished off your films or memory cards by now you certainly will do by the end of the day! The final day, and a trip towards West Dorset is what’s in store for you. You will discover the quaint villages and beauty spots of Charmouth, Eypes Mouth, West Bay, Freshwater Bay and Abbottsbury. Arriving back at the hotel early evening, you will have time to relax and pack before sitting down to a final night celebration meal with the rest of the group and your course instructor.

What else is included in the holiday?

You will be put up in Weymouth's premier 3 star hotel - The Hotel Rembrandt. The Hotel Rembrandt boasts luxurious rooms, a bar and restaurant, ample car parking, a health suite and swimming pool, all available for you to use at no extra costs (excluding tanning room).

The cost of the holiday includes bed and breakfast, and a celebration final night dinner is also included in the hotel.

Please note that photographic equipment is NOT supplied.

Be Prepared!

As this holiday will involve quite a lot of walking it is essential that you bring with you walking shoes or boots and outdoor clothing because we cannot guarantee the weather, not even in the Jurassic Coast. This holiday is not suitable for the disabled and a moderate standard of physical fitness will be required.
